Shipping Clerk II


  1. Processes product received from production floor to include scanning and keying into systems, manual recording order numbers, moving product to and from racks and rail systems in warehouse.
  2. Prepares and processes shipping paperwork to include; internal pick tickets and packing lists, bills of lading, and advance shipping notices, EDI, other customer documentation, as required
  3. Prepares product for shipment, to include, Picking and packing, tagging and labeling, applying shipping labels and documentation to packaging, other activities, as required.
  4. Processes shipments in company systems to include; ERP, shipping software, other systems, as needed.
  5. Conducts audits of product received into the warehouse, finished goods inventory and special order shipments.
  6. Assists in expediting priority orders into and through shipping; as needed.
  7. Assists in the documentation and communication of shipping department performance as needed.
  8. Acts as back up for the various shipping operations as needed.
  9. Maintains high quality standards as required.
  10. Performs such similar, comparable or related duties as may be required.

Working level knowledge of shipping methods and production processes used in the apparel industry.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Computer skills; preferably in Microsoft office software, ERP and shop floor control software (GO and Magnal), attention to detail; manual dexterity.

Will be eight hour shifts Monday-Friday starting at 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. Factory environment, extra hours are required.
