Job Posting - Southwick – Customer Service Representative
Golden Fleece Manufacturing Group, a division of Brooks Brothers Group, Inc., is comprised of three U.S.-based manufacturing facilities located in Massachusetts, New York and North Carolina producing tailored suits, jackets, coats, ties and shirts of exceptional quality for a variety of well-respected brands. The flagship factory, known as "Southwick" is located in Haverhill, Massachusetts and has been an institution in the Merrimack Valley since its founding in 1929. Today, Southwick operates out of a new state-of-the art facility.
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative committed to helping drive our business with a passion for the apparel industry.
Position Reports To: Customer Service Manager

Basic Function: The Customer Service Representative, under minimum supervision, provides inside support for customers in regards to orders, fabric and products. Coordinates customer orders and prepares piece good purchase orders.

Essential Duties:
1. Procures and tracks custom order fabric.
2. Create and maintain piece good purchase orders.
3. Manages internal and external financial and inventory processes; including interaction with Accounts Payable/Credit, Receiving and mill communication.
4. Notifies internal department on status of material procurements, especially when the lack /quality of materials could affect the performance of business and manufacturing operations.
5. Interfaces with customers to facilitate their order requirements.
6. Provide order support through matching fabric to trim items and entering into ERP.
7. Receives, analyzes and takes appropriate actions in response to customer requests via telephone, mail, fax and email.
8. Ensures that customer orders are entered into our business systems and processed timely and accurately.
9. Keeps abreast of knowledge regarding customers, products, features and services provided by business.
10. Performs such similar, comparable or related duties, as may be required, such as processing internal paperwork, entering order information, preparing and mailing swatches, etc.

Knowledge: Working level knowledge in the use of a personal computer is required and a familiarity with Company products is helpful.
Experience: One year customer service experience is required; direct to end customer experience is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Excel required. Previous use of ERP.

Skills/Aptitudes: Ability to deal with people at all organizational levels; attention to detail; and good administrative, organizational, persuasion, problem-solving and oral and written communication skills are required.

Working Conditions: Office environment. Occasional overtime may be required.
